ABOUT THE MUSEUM

The museum is well worth visiting. Who are the Copts? The Holy family gurney (Mary, Joseph, and the infant, Jesus) in Egypt for 3 Years. The first academic Christian institution – the Catechetical School in Alexandria, from which, great Christian scholars such as Athanasius originated. Monasticism began in Egypt, and then spread through the Middle East and Europe. We have replica of the Monastery of St. Anthony as it is the first one in world, and a replica of the monastery of Saint Catherine.
