ABOUT THE MUSEUM
This museum is an overview of the life, accomplishments and original belongings of Egypt’s third President Anwar El Sadat, In his eleven years as a president, His leadership in the October War of 1973 and the regaining of Sinai made him an Egyptian hero. His courageous visit to Israel and the eventual Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty won him Western praise (along with Arab scorn) and changed Egypt’s image in the West to a positive one.
